Phase III in a Virtual World

After you have completed Phase I and II, you are ready for Phase III: The Assessment.

This phase is crucial. It is during this phase, you set up a memory for reprocessing.

The first thing to do is to identify the issue you are working on, and ONE specific memory that represents how that issue is still a struggle; in short, how the past is your present.

It is so important to identify a specific memory.

Ask: What is the memory?

Tell the story. What happened? You want to hear the beginning, middle and end. You want to know what your client recalls, and how your client is still processing this memory. How did the memory begin? Then what happened? When does this memory end for your client?

Once your client has told you the specific memory, repeat it. Make sure you understand it.

Then ask, “What is the worst part?”

Finding a specific memory is always important, but in a virtual world, it is that much more important. We want to know we are getting into a specific memory node. Additionally, we want to know we can track our client, knowing we can stay with our client, and not get lost.

One of the best ways to do that is to start with a specific clear memory, that represents the current issue that continues to cause distress.
It is okay to take the time you need to do this. It will help both of you feel more attuned and clear.
