Kathleen Fitzgerald, CEO
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor & EMDRIA Approved Consultant, intensively trained in DBT and currently working on EFT certification.
Kathleen has been an LCMHC, running her own Private Practice in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for more than 2 decades. Kathleen specializes in relationships and attachment work, especially for those with ADD, and other learning issues. She brings her love of getting to know people and teaching to her work in training and supporting therapists in learning EMDR.
Elizabeth Weinhold
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Board Certified Christian Counselor, EMDRIA Approved Consultant.
Elizabeth has been an LCMHC, running her own Private Practice in Wake Forest, North Carolina for more than 12 years. In addition, she is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. Liz is excited about training and bringing more therapists into the EMDR community, so more individuals can benefit from this powerful form of treatment.
Brittany Edie
Brittany Edie is an amazing mother of 4 children. Brittany believes in the sacredness of the therapeutic process. She is a certified EMDR therapist and nature therapist. Brittany has been a licensed therapist for over a decade, and owns her own business, Graceful Balance Wellness. She offers compassionate, faith-based, wholistic therapy that integrates the body, mind and spirit. Brittany has been working with Partners since 2022, and is currently one of Partners’ cherished Consultants in Training, and is an invaluable part of our training team.
Tracy Jones
Tracy Jones, recently jointed our training team. She became a certified EMDR therapist in 2023, and is now a Consultant in Training, and will be assisting in our EMDR classes. Dr. Jones has been a therapist since 1997 and is also trained as a Spiritual Director. She has been a clinician, clinical director, spiritual formations retreat facilitator, adjunct faculty, and is a member of the leadership team of CrossPoint Clinical Services, a faith based nonprofit counseling company. She is married to her best friend and has 4 kids ages 13-27.
Rachel Vendsel
Rachel Vendsel (MAR, Westminster Theological Seminary) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Fort Worth, Texas and the owner of Caritas Counseling. She works with adult individuals and couples, specializing in OCD, anxiety, and trauma recovery. She also serves as director of Women's Care at her church, Colleyville Presbyterian Church, and enjoys needlework, poetry, and life with her husband, Mike, and their two teenage children.
Regina Carey
Executive Coach and Educator, Regina Carey, M.Ed., has dedicated the past 35 years to educating, empowering, and championing those who seek to break free from inertia and embark on transformative journeys. With a background in invisible disabilities, she advocates for individuals, their neurodiverse brains, and their desires to move forward with confidence. She is an energetic speaker, coach, and advocate who empowers women to reclaim their voices and live boldly. With a focus on resilience and self-awareness, she also brings compassionate insight into the challenges faced by individuals with invisible disabilities.
Paige Bentley, Ph.D., LCMHCS, ACC, BCC, SEP, RYT
Paige Bentley is a leadership development coach, AAMC faculty member, and clinical counselor with more than 20 years’ experience. She is passionate about helping high-achieving individuals learn tools to release self-limiting patterns, cultivate stronger relationships, and take action to manifest who they are meant to be. Her collaborative coaching approach is informed by her clinical training and experience in human development, interpersonal dynamics, holistic well-being, and applied mindfulness.
Paige holds a Ph.D. in Counseling & Counselor Education. She is a faculty member at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Paige is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS), ICF-Associate Certified Coach, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Paige is trained and certified in an array of assessment instruments, including the Clifton Strengths Finder, the Center for Creative Leadership’s 360 suite, WorkPlace Big 5, and FIRO-B, among others.
Charles Scott
Charles is a wonderful recent addition to our team. I met Charles in 2021. He attended our first virtual EMDR Basic Training, and has worked with me ever since. Every second with Charles is filled with his grace, strength, curiosity and love for life. Charles is a Licensed Social worker, and an EMDR certified therapist, who serves his community in the Central Maine Highlands area of Dover Foxcroft, Maine. He obtained my Master's degree from the University of Maine, Orono, and received licensure in 2015. He is fully licensed in Maine and Virginia. He is a member of the National Association of Christian Social Workers (NACSW) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He successfully facilities self-growth by treating every person as unique and providing treatment based on their individual needs. He helps his clients by helping them reach their God-Given purpose utilizing Biblical principles combined with evidenced-based practices to identify and address obstacles that challenge their progress towards complete wellness of the whole person: Spirit, Soul and Body
Alena Alsruhe
Alena Alsruhe is a licensed counselor who is certified in EMDR through EMDRIA and currently a consultant in training. She has been in private practice for 9 years and in the field of mental health for 15 years. She is a certified personal trainer and health coach. She is passionate about integrating faith psychology and physical health to help clients find strength hope and healing.
